A bunch of Thank You cards

It is with great sadness that I announce to my blogging friends that my father-in-law has recently succumbed to his illness. He died on September 17 to AML, an aggressive form of leukemia, at the age of 72. It has been a difficult time for my husband and his family, seeing as he was only diagnosed this past April. He was surrounded by his immediate family during his final moments, which were relatively peaceful. We must take some comfort in knowing that we now have a guardian angel watching over us from above.

I offered to make some thank you cards for my mother-in-law to send to the amazing hospital staff at Princess Margaret and to the wonderful funeral director. I just finished a batch of some other thank you cards to send to those who kindly sent flowers or donations to the Princess Margaret Foundation. These are a few that I came up with.

The large flowers were cut with my new Cricut Stamping Solutions cart at 1" and the little daisies were cut using a mini punch. The first sentiment was printed using my computer and the other two were cut using Beyond Birthdays. I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Argyle embossing folders for some texture and a Fiskars border punch.
