Sketch and Stash Challenge #5

Over at Sketch and Stash, they have a new sketch I thought I'd try my hand at. I didn't quite follow it to the tee but the sketch is recognizable, I think. Again, I'm not too happy with the way I coloured in the stamped sentiment but at least I am getting some practise. The second requirement for this challenge is to list all of the things that are new to my stash. And considering I am relatively new to card making, pretty much everything is new with the exception of the pencil crayons.
Here was the sketch:
Here's what I used:

Stamp: Studio G
Ink: StampCraft Black Dye
Colour: Prismacolor Scholar
Duck/Bows: Cricut New Arrival
Border Punch: Fiskars

I bought most of these items at Michael's and got a great deal on the border punch at Staples since it was on clearance.

  1. Hi Diane : )

I love your card. I think the colored in sentiment is the perfect touch! : )

Thank you for posting to my blog. It is so much fun to "meet" fellow paper crafters from all over the world.

You asked a good question! : ) A "RAK" is a "Random Act of Kindness". As a teacher you will have to scold me : ) because it surely is not proper to say my friend "random acted of kindnessed" to me LOL but we paper crafters walk in lots of liberty in many areas heeheehee!

Simply put, my friend sent those stamps to me for no reason at all - unexpectedly in this case! : )

Thank you for your comment. Patti
